Delighted to be running a workshop with Anna Davidson at this new festival which celebrates women writers over 50 and aims to dispel

stereotypes around older women. It's great to be part of the start, taking place in Brighton on 15 March and Crawley on 30 March. Our inspiring workshop in Brighton - Take Control of Your Writing Life - This is Your Time will give writers a chance to explore how to get the most from their writing lives.
There are lots of workshops and lively discussions planned. Annie Garthwaite will give the keynote speech in Brighton, while Yvonne Bailey-Smith, mother of Zadie Smith and author of The Day I Fell Off My Island will speak on a panel of writers who published their debuts over 50. In Crawley, Kit de Waal delivers the keynote speech and appears on a panel about how writers can get their work noticed alongside authors Uju Asika and Nicola Williams. Novelists Dorothy Koomson and Eve Ainsworth will discuss perservering as a writer and overcoming rejection. And lots more!
